Gulf & Key Remodel is a Sarasota company specializing in luxury kitchen, bathroom, whole-home, and exterior renovations throughout Siesta Key and Florida’s Gulf Coast. The work includes historic houses, condominiums, custom homes, and select commercial interiors.

We do not treat remodeling as a collection of trades. We treat it as construction: scope, sequence, permits, protection, and a person who is still answerable when the last invoice is paid.

Founder & Principal

Ben Dumitrascuta

Ben leads Gulf & Key Remodel with over 25 years in construction. He started in California, in luxury custom homes and high-end remodels, where every line and finish had to be right. That standard is what he brought to Florida.

As founder and principal, he stays involved from planning through finishing. Clients describe him as an artisan who is on time, fair, and concerned with the person living in the house — not only the room.

Interior Design & Material Direction

Roxana Dumitrascuta

Roxana directs interior vision and specialty material sourcing. Spatial balance, finishes, and the objects that make a room feel inevitable — that is her work.

From curated materials to the last piece of millwork, she makes sure the architecture and the client’s way of living are in the same conversation.

What we will not pretend

  • We will not hide the license. Beniamin Dumitrascuta holds Florida Certified General Contractor CGC1531404, current and active through August 31, 2028. Verify it on the Florida DBPR site.
  • We will not promise a start date before we know whether we can staff the job.
  • We will not hide coastal construction costs in a round number.
  • We will not treat a condominium like a single-family house.
  • We will not take work that belongs to a different kind of company just to keep a crew busy.
